The Five Obstructions sounds brilliant (even similar to Hal Hartley's Flirt). I'm dying to see it, but unfortunately, I don't see any playdates for my market.

      It was great. Very inspiring.

As my friend said to me afterward, it really shows that in the spectrum of possible uses of film, the general narrative style we know, love and hate is a small part of that.

      Lets here it for art.

Really provocative film. is it any wonder, coming from Von Trier.

does he have the actors improvise their lines, and then cut out all the lulls and digressions, like he did in dancer in the dark, without any regard to internal rhythm, nails on the blackboard style?

actually, i think you would actually like this film and I am not sure, and too lazy to look up, to see if it is really his film. do you know what it is about?

also, it's easy to pick on Dancer in the Dark, so I will LET you do that because I don't care, everyone is allowed a bad movie or two.

this movie is more of a reality film that portrays von trier tormenting leth to make an awful film. von trier won't stop until leth creates something horrendous, and of course leth wants to make something that he views worthy enough to have his name on...so it just continuously pisses von trier off.

have you ever seen the perfect human by leth? it's a very groovy short. i like the way the guy dances in it...he's got some moves.

tormenting, horrendous, pisses off Von Trier?

isn't it a game that the two are playing and not a viscious attack as the adjective in your post suggests?
